A greyt big hello from Pim

Hello from lovable Pim 🤗. This sweet houndie is hoping to find a loving foster home soon, the first step toward the forever family he dreams of. Could you be the one to help this gentle boy jump off our waiting list and onto a cosy sofa?

Pim is a sociable houndie who gets along well with other hounds. He loves his walkies and is a true gentleman on the lead. He’s currently on our waiting list, and like all hounds making this move, he’ll show us so much more of his personality once he’s settled and safe in a home.

How fostering Pim works

Fostering is a halfway home. Pim lives with you while we find the right forever family, and you get a front-row seat as a greyhound discovers home life, often for the very first time.

  • Apply: Fill in the fostering questionnaire, then have a chat with our homing coordinator.

  • Home check: A volunteer visits to help you get your home ready.

  • Time: Placements usually last 2 to 8 weeks.

  • Support: Fostering costs you nothing. Vet care is covered and volunteers check in regularly, so you’re never on your own.

  • Meet and greets: You help Pim meet potential adopters and share what you’ve learned along the way.

What a foster home means to Pim

🛋️ A sofa to call his own. Somewhere soft and safe to stretch out and finally relax.
🔇 Quiet and calm. Time away from the noise and busyness of kennel life.
🤗 Human company. Someone steady and close by to help him build trust and confidence at his own pace.
🚶 Gentle walks. The chance to explore the world quietly, taking in new sights and sounds without pressure.
🏡 A routine. Mealtimes, walks and rest in a calm, predictable rhythm that helps a new hound feel secure.
🐶 The company of calm dogs. A chance to learn what it means to share a home with another hound.

When you foster Pim

  • You give him his very first experience of home life and human companionship.

  • You help him build the confidence he needs to thrive as a pet.

  • You free up a space so RIGHT can help the next hound on the waiting list.

  • You prepare him for the forever family who is out there waiting for him.

  • It’s a temporary commitment that makes a lifelong difference.

Why foster with RIGHT?

RIGHT was founded in 2019 as a volunteer-run, foster-based organisation. Fostering costs you nothing: we cover all costs, including food, vet care and supplies. You’ll have a dedicated contact and regular check-ins throughout. Fostering is the heart of what we do at RIGHT. Every greyhound needs a real home to decompress, learn about everyday life and show their personality. It’s how we make the best matches for life.

Fostering one greyhound won’t change the world, but for that one greyhound, their world will change forever.
